Christopher Ganzis

Principal Solicitor

Christopher graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Flinders University in 1990 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in 1992. He gained a graduate diploma in Legal practice in 1993 and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Australia. Starting as a Junior Solicitor in a large city-based law firm, Christopher initially specialised in Children’s issues and found he had a real passion for Family Law. In 1994 he was admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and continued to expand his Family Law experience into divorce and separation, property settlement and financial agreements. Working in a large city based firm enabled Chris to gain a great deal of exposure to some highly complex property and financial settlements along with some of the more difficult cases involving children.

Passionate about helping families across Adelaide, Christopher established CG Family Law in 1996 as a specialist Family Law firm. With many of the large law firms offering an assortment of legal services, Christopher saw the need for a specialist Law Firm with a sole focus on families and Family Law. He established CG Family Law to offer an accessible, cost effective, legal service offering support and specialist advice to families going through divorce or separation. 23 years later CG Family Law is now recognised as a leading Family Law firm for both straightforward and the more complex legal issues affecting families going through divorce or separation. 

Stephanie Lian

Senior Associate

Stephanie graduated from the University of Adelaide with a double degree in Commerce (Accounting) and Law in 2011. With a preference for Law over Accounting, she started her law career and was admitted to Practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2012. With a passion for and desire to specialise in Family Law, Stephanie obtained a Masters Degree of Applied Law majoring in Family Law in 2018.

Stephanie enjoys helping families all over Adelaide and takes great pride in advocating for her client’s needs. She provides honest advice and takes a commercial and pragmatic approach when assisting clients in resolving their family law matters, ensuring to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients in the circumstances. Many family law clients experience high feelings of stress and she aims to ensure her clients feel informed and supported through one of the most difficult and uncertain periods of their lives.

Christopher Walker

Solicitor

Christopher joined our team in November 2021. In the same year he completed his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through the Law Society of South Australia, having previously graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Laws with Merit and a Bachelor of International Studies.

Knowing the importance of family, Christopher strives to assist all within their family relationships. He understands the value of resolving disputes in an effective manner and the need to provide clear but considered advice.

Prior to working as a solicitor, Christopher worked within roles at a State Government department and the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. In his spare time Christopher enjoys being outdoors and reading.
